i have never been more inspired in my life! after spending the past two hours just looking through photos and websites of the British-Brazilian model, Alice Dellal, i feel completely horrible about myself! well, even more than i normally do... because alice is probably the most amazing, most kick-ass, genius woman planted on this earth. she is such an inspirational woman it's incredible. do you know how badly i want to shave one side of my head right now?!?!?!?!! oh my godddd!!! i have always loved the grunge, the punk, and the goth style. always. but the way alice pulls it off, it's just so... simple. there's something about her. you know? a studded leather jacket, a plaid tshirt, a cropped tee, destroyed denim, fishnets, and studded boots; all things which i own and wear daily & constantly see in the fashion world but no one pulls it off better than alice dellal. what's her secret? what the fuck is it?

i was on WWD the other day looking at the spring 2010 collections and i came across the most amazing, amazing, amazing designer that i have seen in a while. luella bartley. the most adorable, simple-wearing, sixties-inspired collection. i fell in love the second i clicked on the photos. the British designer, Luella incorporates punk & frilly accents, tons of layers, amazing cropped little jackets, oversized pockets, and a crazy hairstyle to add with each style. the spring ready-to-wear 2010 collection is a sixties-inspired design with bows, polka dots, peter pan collars, adorable patterns, & bubble dresses/skirts AKA my absolute favorite. Luella is officially in my top 5 favorite designers!!

look at this, i'm still updating! although now no one is reading & commenting, hehe. oh well! i don't have much to write about today. i've been sick the past few days and i had to come home early from work the other day. i don't know what's been up with me. i kept throwing up & i have a massive headache. i just feel so nauseous all the time. yesterday i tried to leave work early, i tried to find someone to cover for me, because again i was just so nauseous. i ended up staying my full shift since no one was able to cover the rest of my shift but my boss gave me today off to rest. i've been working so much lately, which is a good thing don't get me wrong, i need the $$$! but it's just been so much... i only make $8.50 an hour & i feel i should be making more than i do. i don't know. i'm really happy with this job though. i'm just stressed out & getting really emotional lately about other things in my life! so i suppose it's been affecting my days at work which shouldn't be happening. i gotta toughen up! and hopefully whatever is making me sick, will go away soon.

i know i'm a few days late with this but i just had to do it. there were so many beautiful (and horribly) dressed celebrities at the VMAs!!! so here are my favorite (least favorite) of the VMAs 2009. oh, but before i forget; how can i post a VMA entry without mentioning the kanye west/taylor swift ordeal?! literally, 30 seconds after it happened, there were about 10 statuses of "wow i can't believe kanye is that big of a douche" of "how could he do that to my future wife?" all over facebook. a half hour later, there were at least 100. thanks for blowing up my facebook, kanye.

gossip girl star, leighton meester, always looks fabulously cute & she looked fabulous at the VMAs in this cute, little silver dress & white gold studded sandals. her smokey make up added the finishing touch to her bad girl image.

pink & shakira both showed up wearing the exact same dress~ a beautiful, strapless, leather, silver Balmain dress (btw, i love it to pieces) but whenever two people show up at a huge event wearing the exact same dress, we all think the same question; who wore it better?! so. i'm personally a huge fan of pink. i love her & her attitude, her style, her intelligence. i think more women should be more kick-ass & laid back as her. but to be quite honestttt, i didn't love the dress on her. i definitely thought she looked cute, but i definitely could've thought she picked a more flattering outfit to suit her, her curves, & her attitude. especially when looking at her past VMA outfits. shakira on the other hand, looked really stunning. i loved the thigh-high boots with the dress. she looked so classy! i thought the dress fit her really well.

LOVE IT
i hated katy perry's playsuit she wore to the 2008 VMAs so i am thrilled she this amazingly hot silver studded & spiked mini dress with painted silver nails. she looked amazing. i love it. anyone who disagrees is nuts! it's so urban rock meets the futuristic style. ahhh, it's flawless! the pink lips adds a nice touch to the silver look too.

LOVE IT
i'm not a fan of taylor swift. at all. but i think she looked extremely stunning that night in the one-shoulder, cream, sparkle gown & red lips. her hair pulled back with the loose curls looks so elegant with the gown too. the gown fits her body so well and so do the red lips. such a classy young lady! at least she looked good while getting dissed by kanye.

i think whitney port always looks so cute & adorable. honestly. her hair is always flawless & she has great taste in style. this black & gray bustier mini dress with the mesh skirt attached to it is so freakin' cute!!! especially paired with those little black booties. i looooooove, love, loooove it. it's classy & cute at the same time. and of course, she looks stunning. it's definitely something i would wear.

LOATHE IT
i really hate what the twilight star, ashley greene is wearing. i mean, i guess the top is okay; even though i don't really get it & don't see anything special about it... but it just looks horrible with the gold skirt. it looks extremely unflattering on her. her hair actually looks really cute though... so i'm upset to see her outfit doesn't match her hair. so confusing!

okay, please don't get me wrong, but i really love this dress! & the pumps! & the maroon lipstick! buuuuut... on lo bosworth... she looks like a 40 year old mom. i have no idea what it is with lo, but it seems like she tries too hard. i mean... honest, she looks like a mother of 3! it's just all wrong and there's something very off about it. maybe it's just me... but i don't know. as much as i love the dress, it's just not working for me. sorry, mom.

i hate all of the hype lauren conrad gets for her fashion sense... because really, she doesn't have any. she's just some rich girl & that's really it. sometimes she looks cute, sometimes she wears something i like, but most of the time it's like... she doesn't know what she's doing. i just don't get it. like, her fashion line?? it sucks. she sucks. eiurfjkshdsksh. anyway. at the VMAs, i thought she looked awful. okay, maybe awful is a bit too dramatic to say but i didn't think she looked so hot. i think it was the hair. i thought her hairstyle was extremely unflattering on her. the dress was cute i guess, but i didn't think it was flattering on her either. she could've found something much, much better to suit her figure. is it just me? please tell me it's not just me...

i do not give two shits if you're a lady gaga fan because i certainly, clearly am not. she is one fucking weird, bizarre woman & no one can deny that. & i mean weird in a strange, bizarre, creepy as fuck kind of way. please tell me what the fuck she is wearing? please. she says she's a fan of david bowie & that's where she gets her fashion sense from but really, he pulled off some really amazing outfits. not some red lace mask bullshit & a fuzzy snow hat?!?!?! i reeeeally don't understand. i hate how celebrities do this. dress or do things for attention when they're already famous enough. fuck you lady gaga!

The Alexa Hype

i'm actually posting again the following day... yes believe it! i miss blogging. & i miss you all too! so out of no where came the huge hype of the British model & tv talk show host of her own show, alexa chung. usually i don't care about the new british models (or it girls, etc.) that everyone is obsessing over but i must say alexa chung is the cutest little chick i've ever seen! her style is impeccably perfect. i'm in love with every single one of her outfits she wears on the streets & to the award shows. iiiiin love. plus, i think i've found the perfect haircut that might, hopefully, will suit me; thanks to alexa. i'm going to grow out my bags, dye my hair brown & get light blonde highlights (again!!) towards the bottom of my hair like she has. but my hair needs to grow first. the back of my hair is right at my neck. it's disgusting. boo hoo. anyway, yes. i think we all agree that alexa chung is adorable, has amazing style, & wishes that we could all raid her closet. so those of you who don't know alexa chung (which is hard to believe)... google her, wikipedia her, whatever floats your boat & watch her show! you'll love her. and her show!

why do i continue to blog if i only blog every 3 weeks???! i need to stop being such a horrible blogger. thanks to everyone who still sticks around & reads this though heh. anyway, i've come to 2 conclusions: one, being that i'm a shopoholic & two, pete doherty is the best male dressed (for sure). now that i have my new job at @ bcbg, i have bought almost the entire store (and i'm not even joking), told myself i wouldn't buy anything more after i bought new flats for work but continued to buy really cute steve madden oxfords for $80, a black & white striped knit sweater from zara for $40, a black & white striped tight dress for $30 from zara, two sweaters & a shitload of jewelery (and a hat!) from forever21. oh, as well as a $7-$10 lunch from the food court @ the mall every time i'm working (i work at the mall) pluuuuus a starbucks & a bagel (or something sweet). what is wrong with me??! half of this money isn't even my $$$!! i don't make this much money to buy all this shit anyway! i drive my parents nuts. anyway. two: pete doherty is the best dressed (and best looking) man on this earth. first of all, he's british. i really don't need to go on but i will. he's hot & super cute & adorable at the same time which is the best thing in the world. he's also such a mess (i'm clearly attractive to messy, dirty drug addicts with a good look) and that's really hot. in an odd way. yes? he dated one of the most beautiful models on this planet, kate moss (or married? engaged?!) and his style issss to die for. the hats, peacoats, jackets, necklaces, & that adorably cute ruffled messy hair & smirk on this face. ahhhh!

omg it's been soo long since i've last posted in here! i'm so sorry to my fellow blog readers! i've been such a horrible blogger. lately i've been trying to find a job so this has been taking up my time. i had an interview about a week ago at the white/black house market but i didn't get the job (fuck 'em). i sent out a bunch of applications throughout stores at my local mall & then i got a call from a friend of mine who works at BCBG saying that her boss needs someone asap! talk about good luck? i go in & she's extremely laid back. very nice. i had the interview today & i got the job! i'm so, so, so excited. especially to be working at BCBG! 75% discount!!! i'm going shopping asap... i'm soo pumped heh. i found the greatest jackets, skirts, & blouses that i just want so badly. ah, i'm so excited after a over a year of not working that i finally will be!!! lots of exclamation points throughout this entry. heheh.

on sunday I went to the beach with my sister. it was such a beautiful day. the perfect day to go to the beach & to tan. unfortunately, because I'm an idiot, I forgot to put on sun block and I came home home looking like a lobster. my skin was burning! it hurt so, so, so bad. it literally felt like it was on fire. I couldn't move or walk so I had to lay in bed all day yesterday (not like that's anything new but at least I had an excuse for it this time! :p). I even had to cancel one of my appointments with my rehab counselor because I couldn't even walk down the stairs without whimpering or feeling like my skin was tightening. it was horrible. today it's not too bad but when I took a shower this morning the water just made it burn, burn, burn. aloe has been my new best friend for the past few days. I guess on the brightside, I'll have a nice new tan!

on saturday I went to a BBQ with a friend I went to high school with who just graduated from NYU (Dan). so he's back in town. it was fun meeting new people, drinking free beers, playing beer pong, eating lots of amazing food, & smoking grass. it was a really chill time & it was nice to just get out of the house with good people like that.

i'm so sorry for the lack of posts! really! i've actually been quite busy with some things. my birthday was 4 days ago, july 10, & i had a fun time with my friends @ the jersey shore & seeing the movie, bruno. however, i'm not sure how i feel about the movie & if you saw it, i'm sure you would understand what i mean! ♥ i'm 19 now & this birthday sure was a lot different than last's. i was actually sober. 100% coherent, clean, and sober. the past year went by so quickly~ it feels like yesterday i was fucking up my life doing drugs & just turned 18. this past 3 years have disappeared from my life.

i've been hanging around, sleeping, reading a ton of books, and watching movies in my spare time. i have a new obsession over michael pitt who is the movies funny games & murder by numbers. :* for my birthday i went to borders book store & bought a million books for me to read! it made me so excited. i got some really great stuff for my birthday too ^_^ which i will show on my next post (i promise my next post will be either tonight or tomorrow~ not a month from now).

three days ago i went into new york city with my sister & my mother to meet up with my great aunt who lives in queens. our plans were to go to the international photography museum, lunch, & shop! the museum was incredible. all fashion photos from the 40s-00s from audrey hepburn to jean shrimpton to penelope tree to kate moss. all of the photos were taken in paris too (even better!) it was a very well-done museum & i was so excited that i saw it. i had so much fun. it was raining on & off which sucked but that didn't stop me from having a good time. after lunch we went to h&m. i was a bit disappointed with the selection! but i ended up buying a black high-waisted zipper skirt for $40 & an awesome light light blue zipper cropped jacket for $40 which i immediately started wearing the following day. i was wiped out when we got home at only 6:00...

and while my sister & i were in h&m we got a text from our friend stevie asking if we wanted to go into the city again tomorrow! of course we said yes... we got in around 2:00 & went to some shitty thrift shops then we took the L to williamsburg where i haven't been in years so i was happy to be there. we went to my favorite vintage shop, beacon's closet & i bought these incredible brown vintage knee-high boots for only $30, a cropped green striped top (it's cute i swear), and a jacket with a "tail" for only $15. i was SO excited with my purchases (still am). i also bought 3 books on our way back to the subway; in cold blood by truman capote (i'm starting this one first~ i'm currently reading), steppenwolf by herman hesse, and the trial by franz kafka which pretty much made my day. we went to central park to relax because we were walking all over the place for hours and our feet were killing us and we were being babies about it so we relaxed on rocks, reading, listening to music, eating hotdogs, drinking gatorade frost (speaking of gatorade frost i still have some leftover & i'm going to have some right now!), smoking cigarettes (well, just i), and being barefoot in the grass. it was perfect. i need to come to central park more often. it was so relaxing, so beautiful. after central park we went to forever21 as our last stop. i bought a b&w polka dot bustier party dress & cute bra. my sister bought some cute things too. on the train ride home, of course, we realized we were missing a bag~ the forever21 bag. $70 worth down the toilet. my sister was so upset since she was the one who left it. i feel so awful. hopefully a good person found it & brought it to the lost & found!!! we got home at 10:30 and i was completely wiped out!!!!! i took the best shower, got into my bed with blankets all around, & started reading in cold blood immediately. and that was my past two days for you. ♥

i found out about your death this morning from my mother.

last night i thought about you.

i haven't seen you since last summer...

and i missed you. i wanted to know if you wanted to hangout since we only live a town over from each other. but first i wanted to know if you remembered me! (although it'd be impossible not to... ha ha i mentioned you to my mom this morning and that's when she told me about your accident. i was shocked. i am shocked. i couldn't stop crying. i can't stop crying. i wish i knew about this sooner. i wish i went to your wake. i wish i knew about this beforehand so i could have seen how you were doing, at least talked to you, you know? i wanted to hear good things about you since seeing each other in rehab isn't the best place to have a last memory with someone. especially with me walking out abruptly without any goodbyes. i wish i got your phone number then. i've been thinking about you all day and i'll continue to do so... i've been wondering if contacting you earlier would have made me happier... or i don't know what the word is... but i regret not knowing you better. i regret not trying to find you sooner. however we did share a few good times and some good laughs in rehab. in rehab!!! who could have thought an hour away, two people would meet that live a town over from each other?! silly, silly. i heard a lot of crazy stuff that i could have told you but i'll tell you anyway one day. i hope you receive this (also) and respond... somehow. i truly wish i tried to find you sooner. i know i did at one point but i couldn't find your last name and i thought that why would you want me contacting you out of nowhere? i wanted to be your friend the minute i saw you - i told whoever i was sitting next to on the ugly couches at endeavor house that i thought you were so goodlooking and i couldn't wait to get over to the other house. how silly? of course i don't deny that though, haha. i do miss you and i do think about you. i have been. i wonder if i ever crossed your mind once or twice? i hope to see you one day. i know i would love that. and again, i hope you receive this. rest in peace, tommie. rest in peace. oh, and all of my heart goes out to your family. all of my heart. they were the first people i thought of when my mom told me this.

i'm obsessed with redecorating, organizing, and all of that fun stuff that entails with changing a room around. i should probably become an interior decorator because of my love for decor!but i love fashion a wee bit more. the decor of the 60s were brilliantly eye catching, incredibly fun - one probably didn't even want to leave their home with their place looking like a party house!i love the bold, modern pieces of furniture mixed with victorian styles, full of color wherever you take a look. twiggy in the corner hanging on the wall, dangling bold lights hanging from the ceiling... they're practically masterpieces. i can't wait to get my hands on my own apartment & house.i'm going to go insane! like it's 1965.how fun would that be?

kris allen is the newest winner of american idol! i'm so overjoyed that he won, no matter how much i loved adam lambert. kris is the cutest guy i have ever seen in my life! ever ever ever ever. he's down to earth, humble, MESMERIZING from his voice to looks, talented, and just.... adorable, adorable, adorable. i swear i'm in love! :* i can't wait until he comes out with his cd. i can't fucking wait. i can't wait to see more of him too! this is the best thing that has happened (clearly my life is boring and pathetic or is it really love?!). of course the kiss performance with adam was purely spectacular & i alsoooo can't wait for the glam king to come out with his album as well but kris was my favorite out of the two of them since i fell in love. but really, hands down, adam lambert and kris allen are the two most talented musicians from all the seasons of american idol. how is the next season of american idol going to top this one? ooo let's see!

the curious case of benjamin button

I just finished watching The Curious Case of Benjamin Button and I haven't stopped crying for the past hour and a half. It was the greatest but saddest movie I have ever seen in my life. Brad Pitt and Cate Blanchett were brilliant, unbelievable, truly unbelievable. I have never seen a better movie than this. The Green Mile was always my favorite movie for being so well-done from the acting to the plot but Benjamin Button has now taken over. 'unbelievable' and 'amazing' aren't even strong enough words to describe this film, and those words are incredibly strong already! Incredibly brilliant. the acting, plot, film, scenery... I want to love like Benjamin and Daisy. I want to forever appreciate and be grateful for everything I have, everything I do, and everything I have done. this film teaches you more about love, life, and strength. It's the beauty of how two people can love each other no matter what. what an amazing film. but dig deeper into the quotes of Benjamin and Daisy, the picture of the film, the small roles of all the characters in the movie; they all mean something. It's much more than what their role is in the movie. dig deep. find out. It's so much more. the film makes me miss two certain people much more than I already do. but instead of missing them and hurting, I miss them and appreciate my time I spent with them. that's all I can do in this world and in my life. that's all I can do while time ticks by, while we grow old, as death approaches us.

I wear: a blue velvet bow headband from Morning Glory for $6 (I was pissed for how much that was but it was too cute to resist), a blue plaid shirt/dress by BDG, a red metallic bustier strapless dress from forever 21 for $30, white knee high socks from h&m, and cute blue bow heels from etsy for $30.

last week I had wild, crazy nights... this week, I've been having boring, sleepless nights. I'm still taking my 10 hour naps throughout the day but now when it comes to going to bed at night, I can't sleep. I'm so restless. It's 4:30 now. I haven't been able to sleep for the past few hours. this is going to kill me tomorrow! why can't I have a normal sleep pattern?

I hope to go to new york city this weekend so I can go thrift shopping at Beacon's Closet in Brooklyn but it's supposed to rain, of course!!! I went into Princeton today and it was nice for about, a half hour until it looked like it was about to downpour but it didn't. It just started raining lightly. I bought some cute Hello Kitty & Cinnamonroll things at the sanrio shop, Morning Glory. I was happy. I have to make the trip to Princeton at least 3 times a week. that's annoying though.

I'm cutting back smoking!!! I'm not quitting though. I can't. I know I can't yet. But I've started smoking a lot more lately. I'm up to 3 and a half packs a week now instead of 2. My mom is PISSED because of all the $$ she's spending on my cigarettes so she's limiting my cigarettes to one pack a week (that's going to be impossible but I'll try the best I can) and I've been replacing my extra cigarette cravings for tootsie lollipops!!!! like Kojak :DDD. eventually I will try to quit altogether but with everything that's been going on, I can't right now. yikes.

Tel Aviv, Israel. My father lived there for about a year when he moved from Cape Town, South Africa to the United States. He lived there after he graduated college (I believe). He started going to a college in Cape Town but when the apartheid was getting too out of hand, he came to live in the United States and finished off in Seattle, Washington. Israel was his city for about a year until he moved back to the United States to live in New York and then New Jersey where we all reside now!

I was raised Jewish. My parents, my grandparents, my aunts and uncles and cousins.... all Jewish. I have never celebrated Christmas, I have never been to church, I used to go to Hebrew school when I was younger until, I don't know, 8th grade; I am Jewish. I'm not as religious as I should be or as crazy proud as I should but I am happy to be what I am since I wasn't raised to be anything else but strictly Jewish. And I must say, I love the special bond Jews have with each other when they find out that they are both Jewish as well. It's fun! It's cute. My family and I just celebrate the major holidays of Judaism so we don't go to temple weekly but maybe in my future I will. Maybe I will grow into my religion more and more as the years go on. who knows? But I have to be honest, I think the best part about being Jewish now, is since both of my parents are Jewish... I can visit Israel because of birth right which I plan to do next summer. I have always, always, always wanted to visit Israel, especially Tel Aviv. My father always raves about how beautiful of a place it is and my mother is always telling me how lucky I am that I can go on birth right. I never knew how lucky I was until I grew up! It's beautiful.

I actually was never into religion when I was growing up but as I grow up more and more I appreciate my religion as time goes on. I am very open-minded and I consider all points of views. I get very confused, I will admit, when it comes to religion because I'm not very religious. But I feel proud to be what I am since I was raised this way. I guess it's hard to explain?! I've been through so many hard times throughout my life and I wonder why the fuck did I have to go through all of that if there is a God? But there's clearly someone looking out for me because I could have easily ended up dead on numerous occasions.

Anyway! I think I got a bit carried away, but I was looking on The Streetwalker and I fell in love with the street style in Israel. I just had to write whatever I think about when I see the word Israel. I really can't wait until I get to visit the beautiful city. I can't even imagine how beautiful it is. I really can't. the pictures I'm sure don't even do justice to the experience.

1. I have never stopped loving The Doors. I wonder why that is... oh, Jim Morrison's amazing voice and hot ass in his leather pants of course...

2. I grew up listening to Led Zeppelin while my dad blasted it on the stereo when I was 6 years old running around my house like a crazy child. from then on, Zeppelin completed me.

3. no one will compare to the fucking amazing sounds of Jimi Hendrix. the guitar is such a sexual instrument! what a guitarist... what a man... and let's all not forget how stylish Jimi was.

4. you either love or hate Bob Dylan but of course with the way I was raised in a house full of The Who, Allman Brothers, Led Zeppelin, Clapton, and Bob Dylan records floating throughout the house... I fell for Dylan's voice instantly the first time I heard his voice when I was young.

5. my mother wasn't a fan of the long intros Pink Floyd was known for, my father was in love. I took my father's side and they have become my top three favorite bands. I don't think I could ever stop listening to them.

6. YES I do actually listen to some music of today's generation... very rarely. but The Sounds happen to be my favorite, and I listen to them all the time. I love Maja Ivarsson with her unique voice and lyrics that I can totally relate to. they're the best to listen to when I'm upset because they cheer me up in an instant.

7. THE BEST SOUNDS YOUR EARS WILL EVER HEAR: Girl Talk. yes, I have been obsessed with Girl Talk for about 3 years now. I listen to the same CD over and over again (my favorite CD of theirs) just so by the 4th track I'm half naked from sweating and singing on the top of my lungs to all of the songs and rap I know in the remixes, which is pretty much all of them. come to think about it, I just listened to them and got half naked in my car today.....

8. I kind of can't live without Queen because Freddie Mercury's voice is so goddamn beautiful. I kind of get aroused by his voice or something. I don't care what anyone says either, Freddie is hot. he's a very attractive gay man. even though he looks exactly identical to my ex boyfriend's stepfather.

9. Elton John, the greatest male singer of all time. I get chills every time I hear his song "Tiny Dancer". I instantly am thrown into a good mood and I am hypnotized by his fabulous outfits. Elton John is the epitome of fabulous.

10. "All you need is love" says The Beatles and it is definitely so true. I actually haven't listened to The Beatles in quite some time but I love them to death. every time I start listening to them, I go through their records one after the other like drinking water. It's the greatest. the most talented, most famous band in the world: Paul, John, George, Ringo. they melt my heart like butter.

11. every guy wants to be Mick Jagger and every girl wants to fuck him. The Rolling Stones are and always will be the best rock band. and they're still kickin it in their fucking sixties!

12. last but not least, Black Sabbath. me and my dad will sing-a-long to them whenever I or he puts on their records in the car or at home. one of the greatest bands of all time. Ozzy can't go wrong.

last week I have been so busy!! I've been out from the AM til late PM. I would be so exhausted by 11:00 that I just pass out in my bed. pass out cold. I'm usually complaining about nothing to do but now I'm complaining about being so tired and being out all the time! hehehe. my friend, Ema is an amazing fashion designer and we have been driving back and forth to Princeton to find boutiques for her to sell her clothes at. she found an adorable boutique where the buyer wants her clothes. It's amazing!! I'm so excited for her because she's only 17 and she is so so so fucking great at what she does. she is very talented. I mean, really. I'm going to that store the day her clothes come out and I'LL be the one buying all of her clothes! I love them. at least I get to wear them all the time ^_^ hehe.

oh! that reminds me. I'm selling some stuff on ebay currently. they're nothing great... just some old stuff I had in my closet that I never ever wore; Guess cowboy boots, Puma sneakers, polka dot flats, Tommy Hilfiger plaid slip ons, a cute blue top from Forever 21, an OLD Delia's sweater vest (but it's very versatile & cute), and that polka dot ruffle halter top from H&M that I wore a few times shown in my blog are all the items I'm selling currently. all of the shoes are brand, brand new except for the polka dot flats. the sole is worn in but just buy a new sole and they look pretty new. ^_^ here's my ebay site: click here!!! It's actually over soon but if no one buys anything I'll be selling them again and again and again until someone buys them all. I really want to get rid of them! they really are nice items and are in great condition.

I cannot express to anyone how much I love Daphne Guinness. she is the most beautiful woman on this planet with her amazing blonde hair (recently with the "skunk" brown in it which I love love love!!!), perfect skin, amazing style, and the signature platform pumps. she is the biggest fashion icon in my eyes. she has the most unique style... she wears absolutely no trends! she is just incredible.

I can't help posting all these photos of her :x!!! because it shows a variety of her style from elegance to casual. I love it all. she uses lovely ruffles and fur and victorian pieces meets modern day clothing to express her style. it's unbelievable. I'm amazed by every new outfit by hers! my absolute favorite is the poof dress that holds still stiff. it reminds me of a futuristic day in time. I love outfits & dresses like that. and with her hot pink platform pumps?!?! perfection.

I said before I was going for a new look since I am so sick and bored of mine. here it is: Daphne Guinness is my inspiration for this one. I am dying my hair two colors. I want something crazy! but something I can wear with anything elegant, formal, casual, just like Daphne. she can pull off anything with her two toned "skunk" do which I actually really love on her. she pulls it off so well. I usually hate two-toned hair colors like that because no one can pull it off! It looks fake, awful... just... terrible. very trashy. but Daphne Guinness looks so far from that. she looks amazing. It really gives her something with the brown in her hair. I love, love, love it! I wonder if blonde would look good on me.....? hehe.

Stolen Girlfriends Club via Pixie Market

I found this unbelievably amazing dress on Fashiontoast's blog and for the price the mini dress was going for, there was no way I was going to pay for it. I just had to make it! it was clearly very easy and simple to make. a mini dress, scissors, and safety pins are all you need. unfortunately, I didn't have a white mini dress but I did have a perfect black one (even thou I wish it was white) but the black worked out perfectly! my friend Ema helped me out with other DIY stuff while I made this simple dress. since she's an incredible fashion designer (I can't wait to show you her designs) she hemmed a long American Apparel skirt that I never wear (because of the long length) and put a zipper in the middle. I love it!!! it's perfect. my wardrobe is definitely going to be complete with all these zippers in all of my basic clothing! I'm obsessed. zippers are definitely my new obsession.

don't mind my hideousness and amount of Hello Kitty pinky pink blush I used in the photos. I definitely have been craving a look and this is not the look I want. I will be experimenting with my hair, hair color, and make up for the next million months until I get something I really like. ever since this ONE haircut, everything went out of balance. I miss my bob a lot. It was perfect for my little oval-shaped face :( now all I could do is sit and watch myself in the awkward stages of hair growth, or whatever.

I needed to check out what my new shades looked like

I've been very content and I'm so thrilled about it. I made a great decision to get back together with an old friend of mine who I threw away over drama and all sorts of things. I don't know what I was thinking then. I really don't. I guess I had a lot on my plate because I really missed her. we still have a great time- everything is back to normal already. It's crazy but I love it! we already have all these plans for this weekend, next weekend, the summer, etc. I'm so excited. I really missed her and I feel awful for what I did. I'm over drama. there was no need to throw her away in my life because of one little thing. people mess up. I know I do. I'm really happy.

as for everything else, school still is a drag. I didn't go to class yesterday because I was too busy reading the 4th Twilight book. but really, I just didn't feel like going... I have a 4 hour long color theory class today that I'm definitely not psyched about but I have to go. blech. I'm not looking forward to seeing my ex boyfriend in class either. It's always so awkward! It's like, we both know we're both there... very close to each other... yet he still won't say a word to me. insanity?!?!?!?!

for the past 5 hours I've been trying to find something to do to entertain myself. I tried chictopia, lookbook, reorganizing my blog, reading Eclipse but I just wasn't in the mood for any of that. so I decided to sleep. I mean, why not? I shouldn't have been up that early anyway!! but then I was awoken by text messages from my friends and I can't go back to sleep so now I'm back in the same situation. I want a cigarette so badly but I'm out. my second pack my mom got me for me, she accidently took with her to work. she'll be home in 45 minutes. I can wait. I think I'm just anxious to go shopping out of town tonight with katie & karin. I really need bras and jewelry and I want to see if the zipper dresses and skirts are at h&m still. I'm so pumped!! surprisingly I actually went out yesterday night!! I never go out on thursdays because my friends are in college but that's the night when I don't have classes so it sucks staying home. I ended up hanging out with my girl, lisa after I watched shitty movies and television shows while I slept on and off throughout the evening after my appointments. it super sucked. but I was so glad I got out of the house later on. so excited for tonite!!

the weather today has been so icky! It's been raining every single day. I miss the sun D': the rain is so depressing. It gets me down in the dumps. doesn't it give you that affect too? I can't wait until summer!! school is over me in just about 3 weeks. New York City & Seaside beach every day!!! I can't wait.

since the weather has been rainy, I've had more days stuck inside reading my Twilight series until my head hurts of reading without my glasses, more days with my friend, Pat watching movies, more naps until 10 pm even though I told myself I wouldn't do that anymore, & more American Idol!!!! I'm excited for Katie & Karin to come home this weekend/tomorrow. I need to go out of town to get some cute jewelry, lingerie, & some zipper dresses. hmmm! definitely love.

I ate hash brownies for 420 yesterday which I definitely wasn't planning on celebrating. I had very sudden plans that afternoon that I would be hanging out with an old ex boyfriend of mine from my sophomore year of high school after class, and he happened to have hash brownies on him. they sure were magical. I haven't eaten one of those since... my sophomore year of high school! I remember I ate them in class thinking I was a hotshot. It was a terrible idea since I passed out in my all of my classes, thinking the kids laced it with acid or something. oh, 10th grade. anyway! I don't remember much when I got home since I pretty much crashed on my bed and that was it. I woke up in my sleep, now, and I can't go back. I hate when this happens!

I look awful, don't mind it!

yes, I got my hair dyed like I said I was. It doesn't do any justice to my hair in the one photo of myself. I look horrible, my hair looks horrible, don't bother. I promise I'll take better pictures today! ^_^ I actually am starting to love the color but I'm crazy upset about how short my bangs are. I already had this look about a year and a half ago. I told myself I would never get the bettie bangs again!!! I like long bangs. Long. Bangs. but my hair stylist had to cut them this short because of the mess I made of them a few days earlier. It was the only way to decently fix them. they'll grow and I'll live. It's not terrible anyway!

I had a wonderful day yesterday. I am no more sleeping my life away!! at 9:00 in the morning, I took a nice walk with my mom. I loved the breeze through my hair! even though my legs started to itch incredibly. then we had a cute lunch at Panera Breadh. I ordered my favorite, healthy lunch: a small Caesar salad and chicken noodle soup in a bread bowl. we bought a Greek salad for my sister to deliver it to her at school for her lunch. she was so excited since the Greek salad is her favorite food in the world. It was cute surprising my sister ^_^ afterwards my mom took me shopping at our local mall. I ended up buying this amazing plaid, corset top/dress at forever 21 along with a wrinkled buttoned up shirt. at zara, I bought the cutest lavender tie up flats, white skinny jeans, & 2 packs of ruffled tank tops in all colors. I love hanging out with my mom. I do quite often actually. after all the fun & retail therapy, I took a SHORT nap until I had to pick up my sister at school. I finished New Moon so I'll be starting Eclipse today!!! ah, I'm so excited. I hung out with my best friends later at night & I hope I see them later tonight. well, I want a cigarette and I have to get ready for therapy an hour away at 1:00. love you all!

I LOVE AMERICAN IDOL. period. I have watched this show religiously since the first, first, first season. I was hooked the minute I watched the auditions. yes, some people find the show stupid & dumb (why?!?!) but I find it so amazing. It has to be my definite guilty pleasure... but I am so not ashamed to love it! It's such a great show, so cute, and especially entertaining! there's so many amazing vocalists out there and we all wonder where they've been this whole time? (cough, Adam Lambert, cough). Paula Abdul is one of my idols. she's such a riot. I don't care what anyone says, she's so genuine and full of great spirit. she has a genuine heart, mind, and soul. she wears the cutest little dresses and hairstyles too! Randy's the silly, annoying guy who can only speak "ghetto" but we still love him, Kara is so completely gorgeous and we're all starting to like her more and more (or less), and of course Simon is the hot british male with this cruel comments. but how do we not love him? Paula & Simon make the show. I can't express enough how much I love this television show. me and my family all watch it together because my family is just as crazy about it as I am (probably even more crazy!). of course I have my favorites of the season, like every season, but I have never been so blown away before: Allison Irehata, Matt Giraud, and Adam Lambert. Adam just takes over the entire show and blows us all away... no doubt about that... but Allison?! 16 years old?! amazing. Matt definitely gives me a Justin Timberlake/The Fray vibe which I definitely love. he has a lovely voice, dresses great, and is such a babe. I was obsessed with Jason Castro last season and I was so psyched when his brother auditioned for this season, but I'm glad he didn't make it through. he was no Jason. he was just a cocky punk freak.

the pictures above were just some pictures I took today. I took quite a lot! I had english class today; nothing special. It was a shitty day too which made it an even more un-special day. where's the sun?! I'm sick of the on & off rainy weather. the rain is definitely having an affect on my mood. the rain makes me more depressed. anyway, I laugh at myself in the photos I took because I notice that my bangs look highlighted!!! I haven't gotten my hair dyed in about 6 months, probably even longer. It's disgusting. I'm finally getting a haircut and hair color tomorrow at 1:00! It's about fucking time!

so I've been reading the Twilight series like it's my job. I can't put the books down. I'm currently reading New Moon, the second book, and it's so delicious!! It's so good, amazing, beyond great. I really can't put it down, I'm almost done with it. My mommy already bought me the 3rd and the 4th books so I can dive into them when I finish the following book! My mom read all the books before me too... how embarrassing?! I love it- we discuss Twilight all the time. she bought the Twilight DVD right when it came out so we can watch it all the time. how silly :-p

these photos were taken just a few months ago. I remember exactly what happened during this day. the memories stick with me. they won't leave. they will never leave. I think that's the hardest part after a break up. a terrible break up. the memories. the great ones. you don't want to let go of them, rid of them. you actually think there's still hope because of those damned memories. I wish I could rid every memory I have of this person so I could move on like he has. I wouldn't say that if he hadn't moved like he had, or if he haven't been ignoring me since our break up.
