i was looking on ModCloth's website and i was in awe when i saw how wonderful those 50s & 60s vintage dresses were. they have amazing suits and dresses with big buttons (my favorite); exactly the way audrey hepburn would wear them! i'm a big fan of suits and anything with buttons on them or with collars. ModCloth definitely has a lot of those. i used to spend as much money as i wanted on anything since i was a spoiled little brat. but really, i don't spend more than $40 or $50 on something anymore unless i really, really want it. some of the dresses i shown are over $100 and i can buy ones just like that for $30 on ebay. it may take a while to find, but i can find one just like it. i try not to spend my money so quickly when the economy is in major need for help, and it's not even my money. it's my parent's money. it's still priceless dreaming of myself wearing these wonderful clothes! they are beautiful, eh? i'm kind of thinking the expense is almost worth it for the clothing because they're so lovely!!
now to look at something much more affordable, i love Monika's little store that she owns online called Monikapolitan. i love hello kitty, junk food & cake rings, tare panda pouches, sanrio pencil cases, cupcake pillows, etc... i'm 13 years old when it comes to all of that stuff so when i found Monika's blog at first (which was a while ago) and i noticed she has her own store with a bunch of those items, i was so excited!! some of the things i showed are some of the things that i will hopefully be getting in the near future- i think the key covers & air fresheners are adorable!! i should really take pictures of all the hello kitty/sanrio stuff i own... you wouldn't believe what i take with me to school. you'll probably make fun of me. as my boyfriend does when he sits next to me in class 3 days in a row. ^_^ i love it though, i really do. and if i order some things from Monika's store, my life will be complete!!!! check out Monika's blog & store. Monika's blog is full of pictures and fun also. ♥ but don't steal the things I want to buy from her store!!! ;D just kidding. xoxo
