i love the 60s: hippies & mod.

Michael left about a couple of hours ago- we watched Fiddler On the Roof (one of his favorite movies while I'm the jewish one and I've seen it maybe three times in my life. but it really is a fantastic movie ^_^) and since then I've been sitting here on flickr and reading blogs. My bum is starting to hurt because I've been sitting in the same position on my bed for too long! :-x
Oh, how I'm obsessed with the 60s mod and hippie fashions! I could be that hippie chick in comfortable jeans or completely naked on acid dancing the days away to Janis Joplin or Jimi Hendrix; dirty hair, dirty feet, loving life and loving everyone who said hello to me or who didnt even say hello to me. Or I could be the girl with the long, perfectly-done hair down to her hipbones with thick, long, twiggy-like eyelashes that everyone wanted. I'd be dressed in knee-high boots & short mini dresses with cute little daisies printed on them. Either would be the life to me. If only I was bored in the 40s or 50s so I could live throu the decade of love. Enough daydreaming though... Brigitte Bardot, Twiggy, Mary Quant, and Jean Shrimpton are just a few of my favorite fashion icons from the 60s that I can't help but adore and post a million and a half photos of them! so here they are- striking beautiful, bold, and flawless + other mod photos that I found. ♥
