lobster girl

on sunday I went to the beach with my sister. it was such a beautiful day. the perfect day to go to the beach & to tan. unfortunately, because I'm an idiot, I forgot to put on sun block and I came home home looking like a lobster. my skin was burning! it hurt so, so, so bad. it literally felt like it was on fire. I couldn't move or walk so I had to lay in bed all day yesterday (not like that's anything new but at least I had an excuse for it this time! :p). I even had to cancel one of my appointments with my rehab counselor because I couldn't even walk down the stairs without whimpering or feeling like my skin was tightening. it was horrible. today it's not too bad but when I took a shower this morning the water just made it burn, burn, burn. aloe has been my new best friend for the past few days. I guess on the brightside, I'll have a nice new tan!

on saturday I went to a BBQ with a friend I went to high school with who just graduated from NYU (Dan). so he's back in town. it was fun meeting new people, drinking free beers, playing beer pong, eating lots of amazing food, & smoking grass. it was a really chill time & it was nice to just get out of the house with good people like that.
